Dr. Geminiano De Ocampo Visionary Awards for Medical Research (GTOVAMR)

The National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL), the country's highest recognition and advisory body on science and technology is pleased to announce the Call for Nomination for the Dr. Geminiano De Ocampo Visionary Awards for Medical Research (GTOVAMR). This new award is in honor of National Scientist De Ocampo. The father of Modern Philippin Ophthalmology.

The GTOVAMR was conceptualized to recognized clinician researchers who have created the vision for medical research in the country through who have created the vision for medical research in the country thorugh their outstanding work in medical research that have pioneered the trail for medical innocations and health research and development. In addition, the award recognized outstanding clinician experts who have created and traversed new frontiers in medicine through their significant contributions to the fund of medical knowledge or the advancement of clinical practice in the country and medical research that have significantly impacted on the lives of the Filipino people.

The Deadline for the submission of entries is on JULY 31, 2013
